We Rock the Spectrum – Royal Palm Beach {Review}

Just three short weeks after it’s opening, word got out that this new indoor place was in the neighborhood. As someone constantly on the search for indoor play areas with the heat and humidity looming over us, I can’t say I was anything but elated to find some place to take my two littles – Bee {3 years old} and Butterfly {18 months old}.

A group play date was set for Tuesday morning between 9 and noon, the hours where We Rock the Spectrum ~ Royal Palm Beach hosted a happy hour, saving us 50% on our entry.

From the website:

We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym was founded to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. As the only kid’s gym that offers an all-inclusive philosophy we have found all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment that is specifically designed to aid children with sensory processing disorders. However, in our experience, all children are able to benefit greatly from this equipment and by allowing children of all ability levels to play together they are able to learn a great deal from each other and become the best motivation for success on every level.

Opening at 9 a.m. during the week and 10 a.m. during the weekends, We Rock the Spectrum offers a myriad of options to get the kids involved. They have Open Play, Break Time and Classes for as little as $12 per session.

There were various stations: climbing, swinging, learning, jumping, dress up, and kitchen. Bee found the dress up clothing pretty quickly and put on a princess costume.

The girls had a blast! We’re one of the first.

After spending time on the treadmill, Butterfly is already getting sleepy.

My girls loved it.  They played for almost three hours, until Butterfly started to get visibly tired, opting to swing in the net than play. The price for this open play was $6 for the entire time.

The owner, Tahnia, let me know that the open play pricing will not be available as it is now ~ everyday from 9-noon for $6, but check the website to find out about when these open times occur. She was very excited to let me know that her summer time sessions will include music, yoga and other classes in development.

Find out if there’s a location near you.
