Finding April

Hello, my name is April and this is my family:

From left to right: J is my sidekick, my partner in crime and the love of my life. He’s seen me at my absolute worst and loves me anyway. Bee is my feisty eldest daughter, with a rugged shell, she’s snuggly in the middle. Bunny is my sweet eldest son who will happily play Minecraft for hours. Butterfly wears her heart on her sleeve and her mood on her face. Missing is my taken too early son, Alexander, who we got to hold for a glorious seven weeks. Then there’s me.

AprilNoelle started after failing miserably to keep my weight off, instead giving birth to two more babies. Also, I got really tired of talking all about weight loss. I wanted to talk about me, what was going on in my life and what’s around me. See, I love my family, finding cool things to do in the neighborhood (with and without kids), TV and movies and volunteering. I’m also working diligently on losing weight, getting out of debt, building positive relationships and getting closer to God.

So, AprilNoelle was born. Well, I (April Noelle) was born over 30 years ago, but AprilNoelle.com was born.

Since starting this blog, I’ve contributed to a couple of books: Clash of the Couples and Never Will I Ever (then I Had Kids) and currently working on my own fitness devotional: Victory is Mine (coming March 2016).

In the beginning of 2016, I launched ModernishMommas.com, a site dedicated to supporting women who want to put their family first in making their career decisions. My goal is to help you maximize your time and efforts for you to get what you want.

I’m also a regular contributor to FitNoire, Urban Mommies and Lose the Cape.

Also, I have a podcast, Run Your World, which inspires you to take control of your finances before they take over your life.

Here, I write to encourage you (and me) through my walk in life mainly covering the topics: Faith, Family, Finance and Fitness.

Don’t miss a beat by signing up for my newsletter.

April, Do you review children’s books? After reading about you and your family, I believe your little girls would love the ones we are just now introducing via Kickstarter. Our website is realMVPkids.com if you want to check them out before responding. Thank you!
