Bev chose DIY Natural After Sun Cooling Cream from Little Miss Dexterous. “I always love the idea f being able to make home made products so that I know what is in them. This Natural After Sun product is one that I can live with and use all summer. Based on the ingredients, I am sure it smells nice and well as soothes the skin.”

April chose 101 Things To Clean with Vinegar from Just 2 Sisters. “I’ve been using vinegar a lot these days, but this is a great summation of what you can clean with it.”

April chose DIY Hair Gel Recipe from Scratch Mommy. “I’m trying to go all natural in a lot of ways, my hair is definitely one of them. I like this recipe for hair gel.”

Tiffany chose 10 Pictures to Take of Your Kids (each and every year) from Lipgloss and Crayons. “I love Carly’s suggestions for photos that you simply must have of your children… I may be a bit late on the start for these but i definitely want to add them to our photo library!”

Tiffany chose She Used 3 Things That Made Her Lips Unbelievably Better from Simplify Life with Mrs. R. “Mrs. R’s simple chapped lip remedy is awesome!! I have always suffered from chapped lips and switched to natural balms a while ago but like she said they can be pricey. I may be trying this recipe out sooner rather than later ;)”

Mari chose Red Velvet Banana Cake Recipe from Treat and Trick. “In this heat I’m looking forward to trying Brandie’s S’mores treat.”

Heather chose Melon Salad with Crispy Prosciutto and Feta from The Kittchen. “I love melon wrapped in prosciutto, but like Kit said in her post, it can be a hassle to assemble. This idea of making a salad and adding feta and basil looks great.”

Heather chose Grilled Pork Adobo from Try Anything Once. “We always grill a lot in the summer, and I love the simplicity of this recipe. Can’t wait to try it.”

Stacey chose Summer Fruit Salad with Cinnamon – Honey Syrup Recipe from Home Cooking Memories. “This syrup sounds amazing! I have been trying to eat as much fresh fruit as I can, and I am looking forward to adding this to my next bowl of fruit! Thank you so much for sharing!”

Blueberry cream cheese scones title

Stacey chose Blueberry Cream Cheese Scones from Living on Cloud Nine. “These look wonderful! I have always wanted to try making scones, and I think these I will. Thanks so much for sharing!”

Natasha chose Just Saying “No” from Starting Over…Again. “Thanks so much for sharing this amazing post. It is so hard for more to say no. Even when I’m overwhelmed, I’ll still try to take on more. It is easier to say yes, then figure out how to get it done. In recent years, I have been getting better at saying no, and this post is the reminder I need to stop taking on more than I can handle. Great post!”

Natasha chose Frozen Raspberry Cheesecake from LouLou Girls. “I am a cheesecake addict, and this Raspberry Cheesecake recipe has my mouth watering. Thanks so much for sharing! I am definitely going to try it!”

  1. DIY hair gel! Seriously, I would have never thought to try making my own. What a great way to save money. I think I’ll try it out.

  2. Vinegar is amazing when it comes to cleaning. I use it all the time. So many great things in this post, but I especially want to look into making those blueberry cream cheese scones–yum!!!

  3. Aside from all the cleaning tips that you can do with vinegar, I love that today’s link up involves a lot of fresh fruit recipes! There’s just so much that you can do with fruits this summer and it’s great to take advantage of all the recipes that you can find!

  4. I love using vinegar for things but I’m not particularly fond of the smell. I can deal with that tho for how cheap and powerful it is.

As much as I hate the smell of vinegar, it really does come in handy!!! For cleaning and sun burns in this house!
