Feature Friday {14} with Yummy Recipes, Mommy Awesomeness and Choosing Love

Feature Friday CIS I think I’m finding a groove, but I don’t want to speak too quickly because I just might lose it! I truly loved the pieces this week and found it hard to pick just three!

As much as I want to cook, I don’t do much variation in my cooking. But this week, I was not only inspired but I got in the kitchen and made a couple of the dishes! I plan on making the rest within the next week. Of course that meant I didn’t choose just one!

Carie from Sweet and Savory Spence brought us Supreme Pizza Stuffed Mushrooms (Gluten Free)

Sharon from Make it or Fix it brought us Cabbage cooked in Chicken Stock

Lydia had two that I wanted to try – the Chicken and Mushroom Boxty which I whipped up last night and the Wake Up Oatmeal Cups which I plan on making this morning.  I made this one!

As moms, we put SO much stress on ourselves to be great… and sometimes we just are. Check out this post by Katelyn at What’s Up Fagans? on her mothering awesomeness!

I contributed to a book on marriage (yes, I did, out April 1st!), but I by no means know everything. I appreciate these words of marital wisdom provided by Daniela at Put A Bird On it!

Our most clicked post of the week is from Laurie at Saved by Grace. A beautiful post about the proper order… putting prayer first, instead of the last resort.

    1. We did like the filling. I couldn't get the the boxty itself to cook all the way through. I think it was too thick. I'm going to try again tonight since the recipe is so simple and make them thinner… the boxties, with a different filling. LOL!

      1. I had trouble with the thickness, too. It took two batches before I figured it out. They only look like pancakes, hahaha. Good luck!

    1. Everything looked so good. I couldn't imagine these on my own and they have all natural ingredients, even a gluten free option! Yum yum!

    1. It was just finished, and will be released April 1st. I'll talk more about it in a week or so. You know, the more I learn about marriage, the more I know that experts probably don't know much! LOL! I loved the post. Thanks for checking in!

Thanks April for featuring my Cabbage Cooked In Chicken Stock! It's a regular dish for me now. Liking the look of those Wake Up Oatmeal Cups…………….

    1. I didn't get to make the cups this morning, but there's always tomorrow! I'm ready to taste them! They make my mouth water. I just started making my own chicken stock from leftover chicken, so the cabbage adds some veggies. I had a head of cabbage in my fridge that I didn't know what to do with it. This was perfect.
